McDonald’s seems to be continuously looking for new opportunities to please its targets. This time I was attracted by their idea to present and advertise the new free phone charging service using a special animated graphic.
Some months ago, McDonald’s launched a new value added service consisting of the possibility for its customers to charge their mobile for free inside its restaurants. In order to highlight and promote this new “piece of brand experience”, they’ve created a special branded content: an animated graphic to be displayed in windows facing the street.
As it’s possible to notice from the image, the visual does not limit itself to represent a battery that is charging, but it quotes the collective imagination related to McDonald’s explicitly linking the signboard to its brand identity. Minimal but very effective, don’t you think?
