Sioo:x is a company that produces Wood Protection, a sort of 100% environmentally friendly paint that “gives outdoor wood surfaces a beautiful, natural silver-grey hue and keeps them protected for twelve years”. Considering that a 12-year lasting product is usually hard to believe and too good to be true, they have had the idea to create “The World’s most boring billboard in Malmö, Sweden, where the weather conditions are as unfriendly as they can be for a wood panel. Great concept, boring realisation [as planned]: the video is interesting, the brand communication is effective, the billboard is really boring, maybe a bit too boring, don’t you think?
