This post highlights one of the reasons why Ikea is one of my favourite brands: it is inclusive, its aim to “create a better everyday life for as many people as possible” is true. In fact I just discovered [with a bit of a delay, I have to admit] Ikea's project named ThisAbles, a project that the furniture brand has developed in collaboration with Milbat and Access Israel in order to allow people with special needs to completely enjoy its products. Holidays are over, for almost everyone. In a few weeks’ time, the entire autumn routine will be in place again. I’m going to borrow one of the IKEA advertising campaigns as a memo in order not to forget to make room for passions and friends even in the busiest period of the year. Because of the recent recession, the increasing number of single households and the rise of house prices, in Korea more often young people are living in small studios of a maximum of 28 sqm. Those people need to optimise the use of space but also to avoid not being able to show their style, so Himade have had the idea to launch a line of appliances dedicated to them.

IKEA have had their umpteenth idea and have individuated the umpteenth new media to use for advertising. “Pax it” is one of the latest IKEA online campaigns, the one that has transformed the shopping cart button of WeAre ecommerce on the most clicked banner of all times.
