Left and Right Brain—The Surprising Truth [INFOGRAPHIC] by Jack Milgram

Re-engage the brain after the summer [infographic]

At this point of September, almost all of us are back at work, hopefully recharged thanks to the summer holiday. To obtain the most from our restored brain we should deeply understand its way of performing, so I thought it could be a good idea to share the infographic created by Jack Milgram and his overview about the differences between right and left brain.

After the summer we are going re-engage our brain, in a certain way. The following infographic designed by Jack Milgram shows how the left and right parts of our brain work together but process different kinds of tasks. The left part is the most rational and specialises in spoken language, writing and problem solving; the right brain is the most creative and is focused on visualisation, imagination, and activities such as art, fitness and meditation.

From the data, in fact, it seems that the left part of our brain is active during working time, while the right one enjoys the free time activities… but try writing a document without imagining and visualising the effects of your planning! 😉
