Reflections on work [RSA]
Searching the Net for inspiration, I found an animated RSA from a couple of years ago, but quite current in its message. It’s named “Re-Imagining Work” and it’s about the deep meaning of work and the way in which organisations usually manage it. I decided to share this RSA because it focuses on some of the principles which I profoundly believe in and that I use to organise the work-flow with my team.
In this speech transformed in an RSA, Dave Coplin, Chief Envisioning Officer at Microsoft, reflects on implications that could happen if more organisations would use in full the potential of technology encouraging a more open, more collaborative and flexible working culture. At least for “office jobs”.
The way of working that lets you avoid being “too busy being busy”, that lets you re-take control of your profession, time and processes, that can make you and your collaborators happier, more innovative and… more productive. Makes sense, don’t you think?
